Announced UOKiK charges against eBilet Polska for advertising misleading prices

On 10 March 2023, the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) announced it had brought charges against the company eBilet Polska, an online ticket sales companies. Following UOKiK’s investigation proceedings into the website, it found that the company was misleading consumers by only informing them of mandatory additional fees at the final stage of buying a ticket. UOKiK had previously issued a warning to the company which now risks a fine of up to 10% of their annual turnover.
