United Kingdom: Closed consultation on improving broadband information for customers

On 3 May 2023, the UK Office of Communications (OFCOM) closed its consultation on a proposed new guidance to improve broadband information for customers. In particular, the guidance sets out proposals for broadband providers to give customers a detailed and consistent description on the underlying network technology used to deliver their fixed broadband service, aiming to ensure costumers have the necessary information to choose appropriate services.
