Implemented Executive Order 276 Prohibiting Use of Certain Applications or Websites on State Information Technology

On 26 January 2023, Executive Order 276, prohibiting the use of certain applications or websites on state information technology, was implemented. The North Carolina Department of Information Technology (DIT) and the state's Chief Information Officer (CIO) were required to issue Guidance to State executive agencies requiring deleting the above-listed technologies from state devices. The future installation and access to the technologies through state networks must be blocked.
