Introduced REPORT Act (S. 474)

On 16 February 2023, the “Revising Existing Procedures on Reporting via Technology (REPORT) Act” (S. 474) was introduced in the United Sates Senate. In particular, the REPORT Act would strengthen the mandatory reporting obligations to the National CyberTipline regarding online sexual exploitation of children and increase the penalties for failing to report such content.
