Implemented Bill ratifying Convention No 108+ on Data Protection

On 30 November 2022, Law 27699 ratifying the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (Council of Europe Convention No 108 on Data Protection) and its Additional Protocol was implemented after being published in the Argentinian Official Gazette. The Convention 108+ outlines principles regarding data protection, such as the individual's right to access, correct and request deletion of personal data. Additionally, Convention 108+ outlines principles regarding risk management and transparency regarding data processing.
