Description

Implemented Decree on price indication including consumer protection regulation

On 1 January 2023, the Decree on Price Indication, including consumer protection regulation, entered into force. The Decree aims to protect consumers by targeting misleading or fake prices. In particular, the new rules establish that any discount must be given to consumers on the lowest price that was charged over a 30-day period prior to the discount. The Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) will be enforcing the new rules.
