Brazil: Introduced Bill 5051/2019 to Federal Senate

On 16 September 2019, Bill 5151/2019 was introduced to the Brazilian Federal Senate by Senator Styvenson Valentim. The Bill establishes general principles for the development of AI, such as the respect of fundamental rights, the need for human supervision, and the protection and appreciation of human workers. The law would enter into force 45 days after its official publication.
