Brazil: Rejected Bill 5051/19

On 10 December 2024, Bill 5051/19 was declared invalid as another Bill (Bill n° 2338 / 2023) regulating Artificial Intelligence (AI) was passed by the Senate. Bill 5051/19 would have established general principles for the development of AI, such as the respect of fundamental rights, the need for human supervision, and the protection and appreciation of human workers.
