On 28 November 2022, the European Union and the Republic of Korea adopted the EU-Republic of Korea Digital Partnership. The treaty enshrines the Parties' political commitment to a set of shared values and objectives connected to the development of a digital society. Cybersecurity is one of the key areas for which joint actions are outlined in the treaty. The Parties agree to explore threat information-sharing practices, collaborate in public-private capacity-building aimed at third countries, and potentially sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Science and ICT and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity.
