Issued Korea-EU Joint Statement on First Digital Partnership Council including cybersecurity measures

On 30 June 2023, the European Union and the Republic of Korea held the first meeting of the Digital Partnership Council under the Korea-EU Digital Partnership. During the meeting, the parties committed to enhancing information sharing on cybersecurity threats and announced their intention to expand information sharing on cybersecurity policy and explore other ways to cooperate. The parties also declared they will continue implementing the principles of the Declaration for the Future of the Internet.
