Signed Memorandum of Understanding on Implementing the Korea-Singapore Digital Economy Dialogue

On 21 November 2022, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore signed a “Memorandum of Understanding on Implementing the Korea-Singapore Digital Economy Dialogue” (MoU). The MoU was signed the same day as the Korea-Singapore Digital Partnership Agreement and is intended to be a platform to promote digital economy cooperation between key industry actors and academic experts from Singapore and Korea. The parties agreed under the MoU to work on personal information protection, online consumer protection and the security of security in electronic communications.
