ASEAN: Adopted ASEAN ICT Masterplan 2015

On 14 January 2011, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) adopted the “ASEAN Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Masterplan 2015” (AIM 2015). The AIM 2015 established the following strategic outcomes in its five-year plan: ICT as an engine of growth for ASEAN countries, recognition for ASEAN as a global ICT plan, enhanced quality of life for people of ASEAN, and contribution towards ASEAN integration.
