ASEAN: Adopted ASEAN ICT Masterplan 2020

On 27 November 2015, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) adopted the “ASEAN Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Masterplan” (AIM 2020). The AIM 2020 established a roadmap and developed policies and, initiatives and activities for the 2016-2020 period. For this purpose, the AIM 2020 established the following interconnected strategic thrusts: economic development and transformation, people Integration and empowerment through ICT, innovation, ICT infrastructure development, human capital development, ICT in the Single Market, new media and content and information security and assurance.
