Opened consultation on ICO Statutory Review of Personal Data Processing in Journalism
On 31 July 2022, the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) opened a consultation until 14 October 2022 on the processing of personal data for journalistic purposes under its Statutory Review of the relevant provisions of the Data Protection Act. The consultation covers general data protection themes, such as data sharing, governance, management of records, remote working, and data security.
