On 16 March 2020, the French competition authority fined Apple EUR 1.1 billion for anti-competitive behaviour in its distribution and retail network after finding that Apple imposed prices on authorised resellers to align prices with those charged by Apple in their own stores and on their official website. Apple's two wholesalers in France were also fined for their role in the anti-competitive agreements, namely Tech Data (EUR 76.1 million) and Ingram Micro (EUR 62.9 million).
