Opened consultation on minimum book delivery prices

On 28 April 2022, Arcep, the French Electronic Communications, Postal and Print Media Distribution Regulatory Authority, opened a consultation on a minimum fee on book delivery. Law no. 2021-1901, which was implemented on 1 January 2022, mandates that shipping charges on new books must be billed including a minimum fee set by the Order of the ministers responsible for culture and the economy. Arcep proposes to set this minimum fee at EUR 3, VAT included, per parcel. The consultation closes on 27 May 2022.
