Adopted Law no. 2021-1901 establishing minimum fee on book delivery

On 30 December 2021, the French Parliament adopted Law no. 2021-1901 establishing a minimum fee on book delivery. The Law amends existing regulations on book prices. The Law mandates that shipping charges on new books must be billed to include a minimum fee and that this minimum fee will be determined by the Order of the ministers responsible for culture and the economy. The Law will be implemented on 1 January 2022.
