Introduced Platform Accountability and Transparency Act

On 14 February 2022, the Platform Accountability and Transparency Act (SB-1018) was introduced in the California Senate. The Bill Bill would require online platforms collecting personally identifiable information about consumers to publish their privacy policy on their website and disclose how it moderates online content and their data processing activities.
