Opened consultation on Draft Telecommunications Security Code of Practice

On 1 March 2022, the UK Government Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sports (DCMS) opened a public consultation on the draft Telecommunications Security Code of Practice, which contains explanations of security measures and technical guidance measures for telecommunications providers. The Code of Practice is intended to provide specific guidance on cybersecurity requirements under the Electronic Communications (Security Measures) Regulations 2022, which are under joint consultation with the Code of Practice. The consultation closes on 10 May 2022.
