On 16 September 2022, the public consultation on “leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in the telecommunications sector” closed. The consultation paper detailed the opportunities and risks involved in the use of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in telecommunications and invited views on various issues concerning their adoption, including broad requirements to develop and deploy Artificial Intelligence models in the telecom sector, major challenges faced by the telecom service providers in adopting Artificial Intelligence and efficient and effective handling of Big Data by adopting special programming models. The stakeholders are invited to submit their counter comments by 30 September 2022.
