On 9 December 2022, the Promotion of Digital Resilience Companies Act is introduced in Parliament. The aim of the Act is to provide the legal basis for the powers of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy in the field of digital resilience in the Netherlands. The Act requires the Minister of EZK to inform and advise companies about specific vulnerabilities, threats and incidents that relate to their network and information systems. The Digital Trust Center (DTC), which is part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, is entitled to carry out this task.
