China: Consultation opened on draft implementation opinion on Cybersecurity Service Work Certification

On 21 July 2022, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), the Cyberspace Administration of China and the Ministry of Public Security issued a draft implementation Opinion on Cybersecurity Service Work Certification and requested public comments until 21 August 2022. The opinion aims to evaluate the current state of implementation of China's Cybersecurity Law and ameliorate the cybersecurity standard and services offered to organizations and individuals. Currently, the cybersecurity services that are already being implemented are cybersecurity consulting, testing, oversight, evaluation and maintenance.
