Postponed ESO Registration Deadline through Kominfo Regulation No. 5 of 2020

On 24 November 2020, the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) publishes Regulation No. 5 of 2020 amending Government Regulation 71/2019 and postponing the registration deadline for private Electronic System Operators (ESOs). The Regulation states that private ESOs are obliged to register with the Ministry within 6 months of Regulation No.5 being implemented. The Regulation sets out the details of the registration process for private ESOs, the details to be provided, and the applicability of the registration requirement to private ESOs based abroad.
