China: Introduced Cybersecurity Law including digital identification requirement

On 24 June 2015, the Cybersecurity Law has been introduced to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China at the 15th Session of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress. Specifically, the Bill requires network operators providing network access, domain name registration, phone network access, publication, and instant messaging services to require users to provide real identity information before giving them access to services.
