Qualcomm Appeal against EC fine for abuse of dominance

On 4 April 2018, Qualcomm announced an appeal to the General Court of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) regarding the fine by the EU Commission for abuse of market power. The Commission had based its finding on the existence of incentive agreements in Qualcomm's dealings with Apple by which the latter had been disincentivised from switching to alternative LTE chipset providers, issuing a fine of EUR 997 million.
