Singapore: Singapore launches AI Testing Framework

On 25 May 2022, the Singaporean Minister for Communications and Information announced the launch of the project "AI Verify". The project aims to increase transparency towards stakeholders through an objective test for "responsible" artificial intelligence. The project provides technical tests and process checks for companies to test the trustworthiness of their AI products. The project would enable AI developers to conduct self-assessments to validate claims on the use and accuracy of the AI, in order to increase the transparency, safety, and accountability of AI systems.
