Singapore: Adopted AI Verify Foundation

On 7 June 2023, Singapore’s Minister for Communications and Information announced the creation of the AI Verify Foundation. Its purpose is to leverage the collective power and contributions of the global open-source community in order to create AI testing tools that promote responsible AI usage. The Foundation aims to enhance AI testing capabilities and assurance to meet the requirements of companies and regulators worldwide. By launching the AI Verify Foundation, support will be provided for the advancement and utilization of AI Verify, an AI governance testing framework and software toolkit. In particular, the Foundation will facilitate the growth of an open-source community dedicated to contributing to AI testing frameworks, code base, standards, and best practices. Moreover, it will establish a neutral platform that encourages open collaboration and the exchange of ideas concerning AI testing and governance.
