United Kingdom: Consultation on data storage and processing infrastructure security and resilience opened

On 26 May 2022, the UK Government's Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport has opened a call for views on data storage and processing infrastructure security and resilience. Noting the UK's reliance on large-scale data storage and processing infrastructure, such as data centres, cloud platforms, and managed service providers, the Department calls for views to provide help in creating a new risk management framework. In three parts, the call for views asks about the risks to UK data storage and processing infrastructure, security and resilience measures of data centres, and the customer base of infrastructure providers. The call for views closes on 24 July 2022.
