Closed consultation on Consumer Protection Guidelines revision

On 2 May 2022, the Dutch ACM closed the consultation on the revision of its Consumer Protection Guidelines. The agency noted that the evolution of the digital space requires a revision of the guidelines, especially regarding fair online purchases. The agency thus requested consumer and market participant feedback, including on manipulative and covert strategies to enhance purchases and potential countermeasures such as requirements for clear information.
