Implemented Decree No. 1279 introducing user identification requirement
On 6 May 2018, the Decree No. 1279 introducing a user identification requirement is implemented. Online messaging providers must verify user registration data with mobile operators, who must respond within 20 minutes of the request. Mobile operators will further be required to store information on the apps their users use and inform messaging providers within 24 hours of a user contract termination.
