China: Closed consultation on Information Security Technology Blockchain Technology Security Framework

On 30 September 2021, the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee closed the consultation on its Information Security Technology Blockchain Technology Security Framework. The framework expands on the risks of blockchain technology and recommends the development of a regulatory framework including cryptographic support, privacy protection and standards adhesion, in order to increase security.
