China: Opened consultation on Information Security Technology Blockchain Technology Security Framework

On 2 August 2021, the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee opened a consultation on its Information Security Technology Blockchain Technology Security Framework, until 30 September 2021. The framework expands on the risks of blockchain technology and recommends the development of a regulatory framework including cryptographic support, privacy protection and standards adhesion, in order to increase security.
