Interim Measures for the Administration of Humanised Interactive Services Based on Artificial Intelligence including user identification requirement enters into force

On 15 July 2026, the Interim Measures for the Administration of Humanised Interactive Services Based on Artificial Intelligence entered into force. Article 12 of the Interim Measures requires providers of anthropomorphic interactive services to sign service agreements with users, require users to register in accordance with the law and the agreement, and collect necessary identifying information including the user's age, guardian, and emergency contact person.
