On 23 February 2026, the Office of Communications (Ofcom) imposed fines totalling GBP 1.4 million on 8579 LLC under section 132 of the Online Safety Act. The penalties comprise GBP 1.35 million for a breach of section 12 and GBP 50,000 for a breach of section 102(8). Ofcom found that 8579 LLC failed to comply with section 12, which requires providers of Part 3 services to use highly effective age assurance to prevent children from encountering pornographic content. This breach concerned the services crazyporn, hoestube, and love4porn between 25 July 2025 and 19 November 2025, and remained ongoing in relation to justpornflix at the time of the decision. The company was also found to have breached section 102(8) by failing to respond to statutory information requests in a timely manner. The fines were determined in line with Ofcom’s penalty guidelines. In addition to the financial penalties, Ofcom required 8579 LLC to implement highly effective age assurance on justpornflix by 23 February 2026. If it fails to comply, a daily penalty of GBP 1,000 applies until compliance is achieved or until 3 June 2026. Ofcom further required the company to provide a complete list of all websites it operates. A daily penalty of GBP 250 applies from 21 February 2026 until compliance or 22 April 2026 in the event of non-compliance. No findings were made in relation to 4kporn or 429 following a possible change of provider to Reply Buzzer.
