State Administration for Market Regulation released typical intellectual property enforcement cases involving online-related trademark infringement

On 6 February 2026, the State Administration for Market Regulation released a batch of typical intellectual property enforcement cases involving infringement of the exclusive right to use registered trademarks with an online sales or online promotion element. The cases included Jiangsu Andun Construction and others, which were ordered to cease infringing acts, had infringing network equipment confiscated, and were fined a total of CNY 846’000, with related case leads transferred for handling. In the Haining micro-store case, infringing clothing, trademark labels, and related materials involving an amount exceeding CNY 60 million were seized, and the case was transferred to public security authorities, resulting in arrests and criminal coercive measures. In the Bagongshan e-commerce case, counterfeit “Marshall” and “Sony” audio equipment and related materials were seized, involving an illegal business amount exceeding CNY 14 million, and the case was transferred for criminal handling. In the Wuzhou online clothing case, infringing “Lululemon” goods valued at CNY 4.9949 million were seized, with an identified illegal business volume of CNY 14.9527 million, and the case was transferred for criminal prosecution. In the Yuzhong District case, 682 infringing goods were confiscated, and fines and confiscations totalling CNY 564’300 were imposed.
