Ministry of Public Security closes consultation on Law on the Prevention and Control of Cybercrime including fair marketing and advertising requirement
On 2 March 2026, the Ministry of Public Security closes the public consultation on the Law on the Prevention and Control of Cybercrime. Article 33 prohibits intentionally misleading the public through the fabrication of user reviews, fake transactions, or damaging the business reputation of others. It also prohibits creating fake customers or transactions to obtain online coupons or subsidies.
