Description

Office of Communications fined nudification site operator Itai Tech GBP 50,000 for failing to implement effective age verification

On 20 November 2025, the Office of Communications (Ofcom) fined Itai Tech GBP 50’000 for failing to implement effective age verification as required under the Online Safety Act. The company, which operates the nudification site Undress, did not apply adequate age assurance measures to restrict children from accessing pornographic content, breaching section 81 of the Act. In the application of the fine, Ofcom considered the company’s temporary decision to block UK users during the investigation. Ofcom also imposed an additional GBP 5’000 fine after Itai Tech Ltd failed to respond to a statutory information request within the required timeframe, in breach of section 102(8).
