Singapore: Monetary Authority of Singapore opened consultation on Guidelines on Artificial Intelligence Risk Management

On 13 November 2025, the Monetary Authority of Singapore opened the consultation on the Guidelines on Artificial Intelligence Risk Management (Consultation Number: P017-2025) until 31 January 2026. The proposed Guidelines apply to all financial institutions and set out expectations on oversight of AI risk management, AI risk management systems, policies and procedures, AI life cycle controls, and capabilities and capacity needed for the use of AI. The proposed Guidelines state the scope of AI, including its scope, management responsibility for oversight, and further organisational measures.
