Singapore: Monetary Authority of Singapore closes consultation on Guidelines on Artificial Intelligence Risk Management

On 31 January 2026, the Monetary Authority of Singapore closes the consultation on the Guidelines on Artificial Intelligence Risk Management (Consultation Number: P017-2025), which had been open since 13 November 2025. The proposed Guidelines apply to all financial institutions and set out expectations on oversight of AI risk management, AI risk management systems, policies and procedures, AI life cycle controls, and capabilities and capacity needed for the use of AI. The proposed Guidelines state the scope of AI, including its scope, management responsibility for oversight, and further organisational measures.
