Consultation closed for Consumer Data Right

On 2 September 2021, the consultation period for the public Strategic Assessment consultation paper as part of the Consumer Data Right (CDR) initiative closed. It outlines four policy goals (regarding consumers, competition, innovation and data sharing) to guide future CDR implementation, as well as a non-exhaustive list of sectors to examine. The CDR is an initiative within the context of the Digital Economy Strategy, that aims to lay the foundation for a data-driven economy.
