On 30 October 2025, the Office of the United States Trade Representative closes the consultation on significant foreign trade barriers for the 2026 National Trade Estimate Report. It sought inputs on discriminatory barriers to cross-border data flows, restrictions on internet-enabled services, and unfair licensing or local-presence rules.
