France: CNIL public consultation on GDPR awareness guide for trade unions opened

CNIL has launched a public consultation on 8 February 2022 to update its GDPR awareness guide for trade unions, in order to recall the legal framework of data protection and to provide benchmarks in terms of organisation and professional practices. Providing feedback on the draft guide is possible until 18 March 2022. This guide is composed of : - a section explaining the CNIL's missions and the terms essential to understanding the guide; - twelve thematic sheets covering the principles of "data processing and liberties"; - a glossary defining technical terms.
