State Administration for Market Regulation closes consultation on draft measures for handling market supervision and administration complaints and reports

On 5 September 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) closes the consultation on draft measures for handling market supervision and administration complaints and reports. The draft revises the Regulations for the Implementation of the Consumer Rights Protection Law, including updates to complaint materials, notifications of non-acceptance, designated appraisal and testing agencies, entrusted mediation, mediation deadlines, and prohibitions on using complaints and reports for improper gain.
