Turkiye: Competition Authority announced investigation into Teknosa over alleged cartel in electronic household appliances sector (Case No. 25-07/177-M(2))

On 20 February 2025, the Turkish Competition Board announced an investigation into Teknosa İç ve Dış Tic. AŞ (Teknosa) over an alleged cartel in the electronic household appliance sector. The investigation will examine whether Teknosa, along with Vatan Bilgisayar and Media Markt Turkey, had engaged in indirect information exchange in breach of Article 4 of the Law on the Protection of Competition the prohibits agreements, concerted practices, and decisions of associations of undertakings that prevent, restrict, or distort competition in a market.
