Description

Office of Communications announced investigation into First Time Videos over alleged failure to implement highly effective age assurance to prevent children from accessing pornography

On 10 June 2025, the Office of Communications (Ofcom) announced an investigation into First Time Videos LLC concerning the websites FTVGirls.com and FTVMilfs.com. This investigation is part of Ofcom's enforcement programme, launched in January 2025, which focuses on the duties set out in Part 5 of the Online Safety Act 2023. These duties require providers of pornographic content to implement highly effective age verification measures to prevent children from accessing such material. Ofcom will assess whether there are reasonable grounds to believe that First Time Videos LLC has failed, or is failing, to comply with its obligations under Section 81 of the Online Safety Act 2023.
