Adoption of privacy law concerning genetic data
Senate Bill 227 is adopted, protecting privacy regarding genetic data provided by users to a genetic testing company. Among other measures, companies must disclose the purposes for which user data is used and provide the user with a right to delete said data and destroy the samples from which they originate.
