On 19 May 2025, the Centre for Monitoring and Management of the Public Communication Network (CMM PTN) released a report on enforcement action detailing its cybersecurity operations carried out between 12 and 18 May 2025. During this period, CMM PTN specialists identified and resolved 386 traffic routing violations involving 160 organisations. They also repelled 216 DDoS attacks targeting systems of state administration bodies, telecommunications operators, and financial sector entities, with the longest attack lasting 2 days, 12 hours, and 19 minutes. According to the CMM PTN, the attacks most frequently originated from IP addresses registered in Lithuania, the United States, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Sweden, primarily targeting government institutions and telecommunications companies. Additionally, the CMM PTN blocked 2'579 phishing websites and 22 resources distributing malicious software.
