Russia: Issued information on Public Communication Network Monitoring and Management Center's action on cybersecurity threats

On 5 July 2024, the Public Communication Network Monitoring and Management Center issued information on actions regarding cybersecurity threats. Additionally, the Center issued security bulletins to telecom operators about identified software vulnerabilities with recommendations for their mitigation. In particular, the Center announced that it had blocked 4’665 fraudulent websites and 5 websites distributing malicious software. Furthermore, they repelled 16 DDoS attacks against protected systems and identified and eliminated 767 traffic routing violations. Finally, the Center sent 83 security bulletins to telecom operators about identified software vulnerabilities with recommendations for their mitigation.
