Ministry of Commerce concludes suspension of unreliable entity list measures on 11 US companies reintroducing restrictions

n 12 August 2025, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce is scheduled to reinstate the measures imposed on 11 US entities under the Unreliable Entity List framework, pursuant to Announcement [2025] No. 7. The original measures prohibit the listed entities from engaging in import and export activities related to China and from making new investments within the country. Upon reinstatement, Chinese enterprises will again be restricted from conducting transactions with these entities unless specifically authorised under exceptional circumstances and subject to regulatory approval.
