On 14 May 2025, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced the suspension of measures imposed on 11 U.S. entities under the Unreliable Entity List framework, pursuant to Announcement [2025] No. 7. The suspension, in place for 90 days, reflects the implementation of the consensus reached during recent China–US high-level economic and trade talks. The original measures prohibited the listed entities from engaging in import and export activities related to China and from making new investments within the country. During the suspension period, Chinese enterprises may apply to conduct transactions with these entities, subject to regulatory review and approval. The suspension is scheduled to expire on 12 August 2025.
